At Mid-Hudson Cakes, we make customized, personalized cakes for your special occassion. We aim to make your event memorable with a cake your guests will talk about for years to come!
The prices below are starting points, and may vary depending on the difficulty of your cake, and the time and number of people needed to create your cake. To get the most accurate quote, we suggest that you call or email us with details of your requested cake.
Our minimum order is $150. This is due to the amount of supplies and time needed even for smaller cakes.
- Cakes start at $3.50 per serving
- Sculpted and custom-formed cakes start at $5.00 per serving, but may vary for more difficult, detailed, or larger cakes
- FREE 6" smash cake with purchase of 1st birthday cake. The smash cake will have similar decorations as the main cake, and can have additional fillings only for an additional fee.
- 25% off groom's cake with the purchase of a wedding cake.
DELIVERY:
We recommend delivery of your cake due to the fragile nature and occassional on-site setup needed. There is a delivery fee, which is a flat rate, not based on mileage. The delivery fees start at $20.
RESERVING A DATE:
We highly recommend that you reserve your date as early as possible. As a small, personal company, we have limited resources. In order to give your cake the most attention and time, we only take a small number of cakes each week.
In order to reserve your date, a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due 10 days prior to your reserved date (except for checks; the balance by check is due 14 days prior to your event.) A date is not officially reserved until a contract is signed and a deposit has been made.
Our cakes are custom made no more than 2 days before your event, ensuring freshness and quality.
PAYMENTS:
We gladly accept credit cards through PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account to pay by this method), personal checks (14 days prior to the event), or cash. A $30 returned check fee will be applied for any check that doesn't clear. If this occurs, payment through an alternative method is expected 10 days prior to your event, or your deposit is forfeited.
